The Kaizen Company (Kaizen) is a dynamic, fast-paced company that implements prime projects for the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and other donor clients. Kaizen specializes in strengthening local actors to achieve development and stability outcomes.

We are seeking MCC-experienced Education specialistto support gender integration and social inclusion (GSI) in MCC Morocco Compact. Previous work experience or familiarity with the MCC Morocco Compact strongly preferred. Applicants with experience in the following areas to apply:

  • Knowledge and experience related to the Education and Training forEmployability Project, which comprisesof twoactivities:
  1. The Secondary Education Activity aims to improve the quality of secondary education by piloting a participatory approach to school improvement in 90 schools across three regions of Morocco. The activity is investing in reforms to school governance, coupled with targeted investments in infrastructure, technology, and training for teachers and school administrators. The activity is also investing in improvements to the education management information system.
  2. The Workforce Development Activity aims to increase the quality and relevance of technical and vocational education and training by supporting private sector driven governance as well as construction/rehabilitation of 15 training centers, together with targeted investments in policy reform of the sector. This activity is also investing in improvements to job placement services through a results-based financing mechanism as well as improvements to the availability and analysis of labor market data

The Secondary Education Specialist will review and comment on deliverables related to the following sub-activities and interventions.1. Materials related to GSI training for teachers 2. Final reports of partnership fund extracurricular activities 3. Deliverables related to the Projet d'Etablissement Integr ("PEI")

Education and Language Requirements

  • Must be fluent in written and oral English and French
  • Arabic language proficiency highly desired but not required.
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience living/working in Morocco strongly preferred.

All positions will be based in Morocco, and are contingent upon project award.
